to our laboratory
The research of our group focuses on those
chemical processes that are responsible for the energy supply of living
cells. We are interested in understanding the efficiently coupled electron
and proton transfer in membrane proteins from the respiratory chain. We
apply and develop infrared spectroscopic, photochemical and electrochemical
techniques, in order to understand these processes.
